Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Average space battle game
This is an average space battle game but not really a shot'em-up. The game moves too slow and the weapons take too long to recharge. The graphics are also average and not engaging.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Trek in my pocket!
This may be a biased review as i love pretty much anything star trek. Its a good trek game with simple gameplay mechanics. I think if this game were not portable it would probably not work as well for me. I like that i can pick it up and play for 15 mins here and there doing simple escort, seek and destroy type missions. There is ship advancement and you can upgrade your crew which adds a little rpg element. It you don't like star trek, you will probably find this game kinda bland.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - This game sucks!
I swear this is easily one of the worst games I've ever played and the worst PSP game I have played so far. Granted every Star Trek game I've ever played have been very poor games. So I can't say I was all that surprised. Why can't anyone make a decent Star Trek game?

Do not buy this game unless you are a hopeless Star Trek fanboy/girl who lives in their parents basement and can't buy a date. Yes, the game really is that bad. Just a crappy shooter set in the Star Trek Universe. Taking ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Good Game
A good shoot em up game but I found myself wanting 3d space and tractor beams.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - I'll prolly buy it when I return the rental.
Ok, so it's not as deep or as polished I'd like. But you can't compare this game to X-Wing or Tie Fighter (Oh how I miss those.) You have to compare this game to every other Star Trek game out there. In which case it comes out (sadly) near the top.

The Good:
It is fun. Once you get used to the controls and the emergency power system you realize that there is some strategy after all. The crew upgrades were a cool idea. Though if they're gonna flirt with Japanese design conventions ... Read More
