Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - An Original, Creative, and Amazing Experience
The best thing to say about this game is that it is really something else. I wanted it to be good before I got it, however when I bought it and played the first level I didn't like it at all. This was mostly due to the control scheme, which I thought was un-customizable. However after a while I came back to it and after looking for a while I discovered several adjustments that can be made. By default, the crosshair moves in a way that makes it slow and thus makes your character turn ridiculously ... Read More

Campaign Length-

People can call it short all they want, but the fact is most games these days have short singleplayer campaigns, unless it's an rpg. Especially first person and third person shooter titles. The industry keeps popping out short lived games, and we keep buying. For the record I purchased Lost Planet a few days after release, and i just beat Mission 6 yesterday. It's not because I suck, it's merely bc I don't play the game for hours on end and beat it in one sitting like ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Really great game! what's with the reviews?
This game has some features that Halo 3 does not have. It is a third person shooter game and some features are nice to play. It is not the best game, but an 8 out of 10.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Big fun!
I really liked the landscapes. Good action. The background story is a little weak, but still fun. Haven't played a lot of PS3 games yet, but for what it's worth I could just pick up the controller and start shooting without having to know 400 key commands.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Lost Planet is lost on me
At the time of its release, Lost Planet was arguably the most hyped game from CAPCOM since Dead Rising blew the minds of many, myself included. While it boasts a load of potential it is ruined by a horribly fiddly control system.

Thrown into a cliched revenge story on a desolate ice-covered planet, we quickly learn the importance of a well thought-out control system. Sadly, this is what makes the game so painful; if it wasn't for the controls this game would have a lot going for it. The ... Read More
