Amazon.com:
As Fullmetal Alchemist builds to its climax, director Seiji Mizushima and screenwriter Shou Aikawa ratchet up the emotional intensity. Ed and Al learn two terrible lessons. The first is that any deed, however well-intended, can have dire consequences--including Ed's efforts to free the people of Liore from a false prophet in the first episodes of the series. The second lesson reinforces the truth of the cliché "Be careful what you wish for, because you may get it." Using the arcane knowledge of the Ishbalans and the lives of hundreds soldiers, Scar succeeds in creating a Philosopher's Stone--in a most unlikely place. But the Elric Brothers have no time to explore the magical Stone's vast powers: The Homunculi and the Military are circling them like vultures. Complicating matters further is the reappearance of the Hohenheim, the long-lost father of Edward and Alphonse. Hardcore otaku will notice manga artist Hiromu Arakawa's cow self-caricature amid the stars floating around a dazed Winrey. (Rated TV PG: violence, grotesque imagery, tobacco use) --Charles Solomon

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Full Metal Revelation.
This whole series has been great, but this disc has a lot of moments where you see the whole action and reaction sequence. I like the whole death of Scar sequence and the leader of the movement in Lior. Great twists. This whole series has a way of misleading you into thinking it's just a silly kids show till you realize just how harsh it is. I love it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - FMA Vol. 11- Becoming the Stone
In Becoming the Stone, several of the characters are forced to take stock of themselves and answer for their past actions. Hohenheim of Light (the Elric Bros. father) makes a long awaited appearance and brings more mysteries with him. For Roy Mustang fans, I think he has some of his best moments in this volume. Truthfully, I've enjoyed all the episodes in this series, and vol. 11 continues to be great.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Awsome!
Even that I am not a core fan of anime, I could appreciate the
beauty and history of this series. The end is coming near, don't miss
this 4 chapters!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - SCAR MAKES PHILOSOPHER'S STONE
The military has completely surrounded the bombed out city of Liore as Lt. Col. Archer plans to eliminate anyone still left alive inside it. That's exactly what Scar wants him to do. Bring in all his troops to where he can activate the transmutation circle that he has constructed amidst the city itself! As Ed tries to evacuate the residents before the carnage begins, Al and Scar face off against Kimbley, the murderous bomb-freak alchemist who has been indiscriminately killing anyone he comes across. ... Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Take it from a true Fullmetal Fan...(NO SPOILERS)
...that this is one of, if not the, best volume yet. Take it from me; I've seen the entire series (and will see the movie when I buy it on DVD September 12) that if there were ever any volumes in the FMA series that are must-haves, it would be Volumes 11 - 13.

If you think that, "Oh, you're just a child. This is probably a little cartoon for kids..." YOU ARE WRONG. I am barely allowed to watch this show even though it is my favorite at the time. The rating for all of these episodes is TV ... Read More
