My 4 y.o. son loves this toy, it's pretty durable, and moderately priced. Sound is funny without being too annoying. If you just want a ship for your kid to play with, this is the one. If you are a collector that wants authenticity, read the other reviews and pay more.

This was my second Diamond Select starship. My first one was the original series Enterprise. For the price paid, this item is a wonderful collectible. Sure, if you paid more, you could reasonably expect more features, (one feature I wish this had was the ability to just turn on the lights for display, but you cannot sadly), but you'd be expecting too much.

I have always wanted this toy, but they never sold it in main stream stores like Wal-Mart and Target. I was very happy with the quality of past models made by Art Asylum. So when I saw this online I new I had to get it, it got here faster than estimated and it looks absolutely amazing. I would recommend this to any one who wants a very unique and amazing model of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E
