When I first opened it, I thought the dice were a little small at 7/16", but my second thought is that they are the right size for the game. Mine came in a fairly heavy tie-top canvas bag.
The shaker cups I received are wood, not plastic like the item description says. They are a nice dark walnut color, and seem quite sturdy. The insides are not smooth, but not disturbingly rough either. I actually found them to be a nice surprise.
