The Deluxe Librarian Action Figure is a fun collector's item. It is a thing of beauty. It is a gag gift. It is not realistic. It is oh-so-true-to-life.

If you've "Got Books" - you've gotta get the Deluxe Nancy Pearl Action Figure. No library should be without it on visible display. I'm a practicing elementary school librarian and a big Nancy Pearl fan. Ordered this as a Christmas present for my faithful assistant. She loves it - the kids love it. ...or at least ones in Ohio. Purchased this item as a gift for a friend who has enjoyed it tremendously. The one comment I received from them regarding the Deluxe Librarian Action Figure is that her "Shhh-ing" action can be somewhat intermittent. My friend did suggest that it "might just be the batteries". A worthwhile gift for any librarian in your life.
