Product Description: Blast off for outrageously funny space travel in this screwball comedy that spins wildly out of control all the way to Mars! Though he's a whiz with computers, accident-prone astro-nut Fred Randall (comedian Harland Williams - "Dumb And Dumber") is the last guy on Earth you'd want on the first manned mission to Mars. But as bad luck and poor timing would have it, that's exactly what happens and Fred undergoes rigorous, if not hilarious, training at NASA. After that, it's t-minus a reality check as Fred blasts off with the rest of the space shuttle crew: a cocky, non-nonsense Commander, a sexy Mission Specialist and a mischievous space chimp named Ulysses. From the dizzying preflight foolishness to the even loonier landing, Rocketman is the out-of-this-world hit comedy that's more than go for launch, it's go for laughs!

This movie is hilarious, it is all slapstick/bathroom humor. The best part about this movie is there is no offensive language, nor any inappropriate scenes for children. My 4, 6, and 8 year old sons and I can watch this movie together and laugh without anyone getting uncomfortable.

This movie was hard to find in the stores or rental areas so we wanted to buy it. We have seen it before and have loved it every time. The kids keep requesting it, so buying it seemed to be the smartest way to go. This is a great and very funny movie the whole family can watch. There are no uncomfortable moments watching this with your children, which is hard to find these days. Highly recommended.....

This is one of those comedies my family and I will always remember and watch over and over. I don't know way, but it does have a special place in our memories and now lives in our little movie collection so we can see it every time we need to laugh. The movie has various great qualities such as the great comic performance of Williams Harland, good story and very funny lines. Of course it's a silly movie but hey, sometimes silly can be good specially when it brings wholesome family time.

Rocketman is about a guy, Fred Randall, going to space. Thou he doesn't fit quite in with the rest of the crew, he is making things happen all the time and proves to be quite a strong character in the end. I would recommend it to young and old (and in between).
This movie is brilliant and I'm sure you'd be watching it more than once. It's one of the few comedies that I just "had to have".

Saw clip on you tube had to have film,
very clever and funny appeals to kids and adults.
If you watch this and don't laugh you need surgery on your funny bone.
Some of the Goldmember sketches were obviously drawn from this movie.
