Product Description: Mega Man Maverick Hunter X is a remake of the original Mega Man X title that first appeared on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The game builds upon the original with new renderings of 3D character models, new environments and gameplay features that raise the bar for side-scrolling platformers. Obviously a remake of the 1993 SNES Megaman X game. Stays loyal to the original game, but is different enough not to be boring (by far). Remixed music, MUCH better graphics work and the enemy characters now have voice acting.

I ordered this game online, for my husband who is gone on deployment. It came in a day earlier than expected, and am happy to say that he is going to enjoy this game and are willing to order more.
Thank you,
M.

Let's just try to keep this short...
I went into this not entirely knowing what to expect, but perhaps figuring something between a port and a full-out remake. In order to breath life into a great classic game like this here is a good way to do it. The Graphics finally up to date slight changes and some the enemies were easier to take down but the difficulty setting put it were it belongs. Then you get to play as Vile and that was cool. All in all this Game is still great I very much hope and look forward to the rest of the MegaMan games getting thier turn like this.

Although I will admit, it's not a bad game, it's not quite as good as the SNES original. While the SNES original was a fast paced action-adventure classic, this feels more like a Saturday-morning cartoon. Although, with the addition of the Vile mode and Day of Sigma anime, it's well worth the money. In short, those new to the Megaman X series should pick this up ASAP. You won't be disappointed. However, the Megaman X veterans who still remember the original, will be.
