If you like gangster/soprano type movies, this one is great. Considering this is also a true account makes it even more interesting. Plus, I love vintage/70s setting movies because it is very nostalgic for me. Highly recommend.

"Casino" is a crowning achievment on alot of different levels. The directing, the acting and the story. This movie really makes one happy not to be involved in shady and slick dealings. It's really hard to decide who is the champion in this movie as well. At the end of the movie, it's hard not to be empathetic for Joe Pesci; despite his being a genuine punk. I highly recommend this movie.

The performances: Robert De Niro is one of the finest actors to come out of Hollywood and that's a universal fact! In this movie, he delivers a performance that qualifies as one his best after 'Raging Bull'. He appears super-cool as the Casino operator and you cannot help but sympathize with him in some later parts of the movie when he ... Read More
