I first saw GALLERY many years ago on WPIX - Channel 11 Chiller Theater, and it stuck with me. It's brash, colorful, mostly well paced, and very amateurishly acted and directed.
John Carradine (somebody fix his bow tie, please?) introduces 5 comic book type stories all delivered on a junior high school level. Lots of "location" footage lifted from Corman's THE TERROR (who likely swiped it from somewhere else too) - endless horse-drawn carriage scenes with lurid voice overs.

This film has been in the back of my mind for 40 years. Not knowing the title, I searched for what I could remember of the 5 tales of terror! John Carradine introduces the 5 short tales that will remind you of your favorite horror comics from the early 60's. Each tale runs only around 15 minutes and that includes Carradine's introduction!

Produced and directed by David ... Read More
