My son has Down's Syndrome, categorized as severely retarded. With Living Books, he is able to begin the process of reading. The Cat in the Hat CD allows my son to play, which means he doesn't realize he is learning. So far, he is at the point where he recognizes pages, has memorized them from the CD, and can relate those words to the book itself. I highly recommend this series, particularly the books by Dr. Suess, to anyone who has children who do not, will not, or supposedly can not read. ... Read More
