Altamont sounds better and better every time a new album is presented. this one no different. we all know Dale Crover is a drum god, but here
we learn he is even more than that. check it out and also look into the
split LP debut which has five cuts from Altamont on it also. I believe he
plays drums and guitar both on these tracks (the vocals are his as well).
i wasn't disappointed, you shouldn't be either.

I haven't heard any other Altamont so I cant say whether this is an improvement but I can say that this stands out as a mad album by itself. If you like the melvins you will more than likely enjoy this. I think Dale plays drums on alot of the tracks and I love the drum intros on this album. Lotsa fun, 5 stars

Its been a long time coming but it was worth it. The monkees uncle is fantastic, altamont have grown up as a band. as much as i always loved their older stuff, this is very fresh, original and very dale. there are the usual chord changes which are out of key and off key melodies. there is use of alot of fuzzy distortion and effects, and dale played some of the drums this time too and it shows. keeping this short, but overall an awesome album, recommend to any altamont fan for a great treat. best ...
