Horatio Caine, a former homicide detective, heads a group of investigators who work crimes amid the steamy, tropical surroundings and cultural crossroads of Miami. His team includes Calleigh Duquesne, a bilingual Southern beauty with a specialty in ballistics; Tim Speedle, a cocky yet disarming investigator who is well-connected on the street, and Eric Delko, an underwater recovery expert who knows all the twists and turns of the Florida waterways. Rounding out the team is Alexx Woods, the no-nonsense, know-it-all coroner. Unlike the original CSI Vegas, which features broader ensemble acting, this is basically The Horatio Show. If you like Horatio, you'll quickly get addicted to it. If not you'll quickly flip it off for good. Also, sure, neither the CSI crime lab angle nor the science are as central here as the Vegas show. Its just what gets the boat afloat. First off I'd like to say that CSI Miami, is truly an awesome show and an adventure. The acting is good, the stories and crime scenes really captivate the audience. The camera and photography shots are the best!
