Editorial Review:

Description:
Here it is the full-on, all-out-crazy finale to Full Metal Panic? FUMOFFU! And it seems that EVERYONE has gone completely mad! First, a laugh-out-loud yakuza war brings gangster stereotypes to life, risks the lives of Kaname and Sousuke, and enlists an unlikely army of Bonta-kuns to save the day! Next, there’s a turf war on the school campus, and it’s nerd against nerd, in an ill-inspired contest to see which group of misfits can seduce the most girls! And finally, it’s scandal, scare, skin, and screamin’ hilarity – as a whole classroom of students discards common sense... just before they unwittingly discard their clothes! It’s a fitting finish to a frenzied frolic in full-metal frivolity – and you definitely don’t want to miss it!

Amazon.com:
The second season of Full Metal Panic comes to an appropriately nutty conclusion. The Yakuza hit men Kaname encountered in episode 4 return: they work for the father of her friend Ren. Their inept family gang is losing its turf to a pack of upstarts, so Kaname brings in Sousuke to train them--as the giant plushie Bonta-kun! The filmmakers spoof all the clichés of military movies: they have the "recruits" sing the Marine marching chant "Everywhere we go..." in "Fumoffus." Sousuke is delighted with the performance of the armored Bonta-kun suits and can't understand why more arms dealers don't stock them. All three episodes provide the special blend of slapstick comedy and grudging romance that made Full Metal Panic a hit on both sides of the Pacific. Watching the end of the series is a bit like having a friend move away, but a third season is reportedly in the works. (Rated TV PG V: comic violence, nudity) --Charles Solomon

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Full Metal Panic- A Kid's Best Laugh
Full Metal Panic! was the most funny cartoon I have ever seen. Enter a military freak that is caring but simaltaneously dumb about anything that has got nothing to do with war. Also enter a girl that is a whispered [has black technology in her brain] that is being protected by the military freak. What do you get? A funny, animated cartoon. Whoever the director of this cartoon is, i beg you for more of this cartoon. Come on, all of us are waiting!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - FUNNY BEYOND EXPECTATION!!!
To begin with, it is definitely a very good show, something that I will explain later on.

Let us start with the outline of the story.

As the rest of the DVDs, this one has three stories going on:
1) Yakuza vs. Yakuza. Thing is that the first gang belongs to the father of one of Kaname's friends. In order to help her, Sousuke will be dressed as a Bonta-kun again and take on their training; which also will result in creating an army of Bonta-kuns so that to beat the ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - THE REVENGE OF BONTA-KUN
It's the final volume of one of the funniest series of the year, and that's almost enough to make you cry, if you weren't so busy laughing as you enjoy Full Metal Mania! In the first of 3 episodes, Chidori and Sousuke find out that their mild-mannered classmate Ren, the assistant to the student body president is the daughter of the local yakuza lord! But lately, since her father has been ill, some young punks have been trying to assert themselves. That's when Bonta-kun comes into the picture to show ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Frickin Awesome!
Had ta quote a little Carl from ATHF there, it was the only thing that seemed apt.

Basically the entire dang season's awesome, but you aint seen nothing til the end episode, baby! The evil little pervert in me was overjoyed. As far as dark sadistic endings that'll have ya laughing loud enough to draw attention throughout the house go, this one's pretty much unbeatable.

I still can't believe they actually let em do it, being as naughty as it is. It's a gem! Totally made the ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A very entertaining show
This is a very funny show... I am so glad that they made this short season to keep us entertained. This season was more of a filler season... it's nowhere near as serious as the first or second season.. it's mostly comedy. But it's definitely worth owning if you love FMP at all. If you're thinking about getting it... I would say go for it.. you most likely won't be unhappy (unless you're a diehard serious plot, serious mecha fan.. then you might be unhappy!) :)
