As the other reviewer noted, there is no rigidity to the wings. I had to bend a couple coat-hangers around the perimeter and then wrap grey fabric around them in order for the wings to have some stiffness. After doing that, they looked great and my 7yo daughter loved it. We had no issues with the mask which is the fairly typical plastic mask that has a rubber band around the back to hold it on. I purchased a "mace" separately for her to have the complete Hawk Girl look.

My daughter is a Justice League fanatic and was estatic to be able to be Hawkgirl, but she isn't as thrilled with the costume as I would have hoped. The mask is very delicate plastic and the wings have no way to stay upright. They are just cloth that just flops over. I don't know how they did it in the picture. The top is itchy. The sizing did fit just fine and it was delivered promptly.
