I think that I also could have enjoyed this dvd more with all the performances by the artists if they showed the artists. Too much showing audience singing (look at Wilbert Harts Delfonics). If I wanted to see that much audience participation at a concert I would have just thrown a house party if I wanted to see people other than the artists sing.

This is my favorite DVD. All of the Old School Soul DVDs are great.But this one is the best. The band is great The artists are (of course) older, but they still sound great.I purchased it back in September 2006. Believe me you not gonna beat this one.

This music video collection is awesome and brought back so many memories from back in the day. Back in time when artists actually dressed up on stage and presented themselves in a classy way. No sagging pants, guys holding themselves just walking around the stage like their mad at somebody. Today's music (rap in particular) is so angry and vulgar. This DVD brings back a lot of good memories from the 60s and 70s.
The image and sound quality on the vast majority of the performances
is excellent, although a few are just fair.
This is real finger-popping grown folks music, that will have
you up singing and dancing after the first 2 minutes ---
its well worth buying!
