If you have played that terrible movie version of this game, you will be happy to know that this one does not even resemble that version in anyway.
This one is a side-scroller action game with 4 areas of 6 stages in each that vary depending on which turtle you use.

Cool game. Fun to play. Challenging. Can't advance untill you practice each level well. It's exciting to wait and see what turns up on each new level.

I have always loved button mashing beat 'em up games (streets of rage, most ninja turtle games, etc). This one is no exception. Of the games I have played to date, the graphics are probably the poorest I have seen on the DS. But the game itself is great. Control is nice, the different turtles fight differently enough to keep things interesting, and mutiple paths through the levels depending on which turtle you use gives a decent amount of replay value.
