I have been using nothing but these discs for over 3 years. They have never failed me.

Although the box says TDK, as someody else mentioned, the manufacturer is Ritek. First 2 discs in the Pioneer drive from my laptop produced coasters. The maximum write speed accepted was 2.4x, although the drive itself is much faster and works very well with other brands. The resulting discs would not play in any DVD drive I tried.
I then tried to write a third disc on an external Toshiba drive, which routinely writes other discs at 8x, and I got a whopping 4x write speed with the "TDK". At ... Read More

Dvd's are OK.But the packaging was poor.The cover box was broken and 3 dvd's are cratched.

When I received this item the Spindle in the middle of the the DVDs was broken off from the bass at the bottom of the stack and from what I can tell after a brief inspection none of the DVDs themselves were damaged and their was no damage to the box in which the DVDs were shipped.

Unbelievable!
Can a spindle of discs really be this bad? I don't write many reviews but this purchase was such a ripoff I just had to take the time to warn people. I am talking 35% to %45 bad discs!!!! (Will not format. Or, the recorder will say it's formatted but take it out and put it back in - not formatted.) I format on my dvd recorder. I am not trying to format at a high speed.
