Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Classic Simpsons!!
This DVD contains many great classic episodes! Watching all these again brings back so many great Simpsons jokes. My all time fav moment is the Halloween time travel episode when Lisa yells: "Dad! Your hand is jammed in the toaster!" Sure the outside box is not as classy as previous ones, but I really don't think the outside matters much. It still contains a great guide and decorated DVDs.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Well...
I must say it is a bit different than the others, but people who are soo unhappy with it, is given a choice for the old boxes.. for a shipping/handling fee of course.. up to you.. i do not think its that bad, just different... Go to www.simpsonsbox.com.. if you realllyyyy need that box..:) hope i helped.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Not an outer shell, folks
Contrary to previous comments, the packaging you're seeing is not an outer box. This packaging does not match the fold-out style of the previous five seasons whatsoever. The plastic (read: cruddy plastic) Homer head packaging pops open at the top to reveal a Homer cut-out envelope (similar to the packaging of the previous five seasons, only not as geometrically sound). It seems like the whole thing centers on a "Who Shot Mr. Burns" sort of feel.

The season is great, one of the last great ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Shut up about the stupid packaging!
This is one of the best seasons of the Simpsons featuring such classics as "Homer Badman" and "Who Shot Mr. Burns" and people are complaining about the newly designed packaging. Yes it is different from the first 5 seasons but don't worry it's still the same classic Simpsons (in fact I like the new packaging). And for those who worry about whether or not it will fit in their DVD holding cases it is still the same size as the first 5 seasons. So just breathe and relax and stop worrying over trivial little ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Unfortunate packaging.
While this season is one of the best, the packaging is moronic. I can assure everyone who believes that it is simply an outer sleeve: IT IS NOT!! The DVDs are contained inside Homer's cranium. This hasn't stopped me from purchasing it, but it is clear that FOX doesn't care about the fans what-so-ever. At the rate they are releasing these sets, the rest of the seasons will be on a new format!
