Yes these are bootlegs, but they are very good bootlegs. The packaging is pretty good, the discs look professional. The set is cheap and offers a lot of episodes for your money. The picture quality is fair. It would take a lot to restore these old prints. Hopefully one day a legitimate release comes with clean prints and chronological complete set. For now, this is nice enough to hold me over.

Much has been said about the low-quality presentation of this set, particularly regarding the menu and picture quality. Many of the reviews are quite old, which makes me wonder if they're talking about the same set, as I found it to be more than adequate. Sometimes it can be seen that they were transferred from VHS, but most of the time they look great. Sketchy packaging, but the discs work great and for as old as these episodes are the quality is very good. Very entertaining and fun for a small amount of money
