Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Disappointing Soap Opera
If you enjoyed the book, I wouldn't recommend the DVD. Some fine actors, but the characters have none of the charm or depth that they have in the book. In fact, the portrayals are not at all true to the book. It appeared to be a cheesy made for TV miniseries: Part soap opera, part horror story.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Rosamunde's SEPTEMBER excellently done!
Rosamunde's SEPTEMBER was a joy to watch! Even although the story was altered in just two places it in no way detracted and the performances of the characters was excellent. The scenery was magnificent and I would say this is a MUST for Rosamunde Pilcher lovers.

While several of the major actors walk through their roles with no strain, little gems of acting appear in the lesser roles, like ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - A good adaptation of Rosamunde Pilcher book
This a long movie but a good adaptation of the Rosamunde Pilcher
book. The countryside is beautiful and the architecture is wonderful.
Watch it in sequels!!!!!!!!
I liked it............
