Product Description: Whether operating undercover or fronting a band of thieves, the metamorphic mutant known as Mystique possesses an almost pathological capacity for deception. A mutant metamorph, Mystique can psionically shift the atoms and molecules of her body and clothing so as to mimic the appearance of any human, humanoid or semi-humanoid being of either sex. Her control is so precise she can exactly replicate another person's retina, finger, palm and skin-pore patterns; even vocal cords are not beyond her ability to duplicate. A sworn enemy of the human race, Mystique wages a one-woman war against those who hate and fear mutants!

There have only been a handfull of Mystique Figures released, to my recolection 3. One in the mid-90's, the X-Men movie version, and now the ML version.
This is by far the best figure. This a series of seven that build a sentinel. This alone is worth having. She is very cool looking and very posable. A little bit smaller in person but still a very good figure. Also the skull belt is nice added touch.

in a previous revue, a reference was made to the left leg, it is my belief that it was formed this way, why i do not know. other than the leg the quality is excellent even if the figure is lacking some articulation. my daughter loves the toy as it works well w/ nightcrawler and beast to form a set of blue people (really tough smurf's?).

Well, they did it to me again. They took the one character in the whole series that I was really anticipating the most and then didn't do her any justice. This is another one of those "the picture on the package looks better than the product" situations. Mystique is one of my favorite characters and I was excited to find out that they were going to put her in the Marvel Legends line. After ToyBiz had done such an excellent job on Phoenix, the Black Widow, and the Invisible Woman, I thought Mystique ... Read More
