I own the VHS version of this film. I love it. It is the second Christmas movie I watch every year, and I never tire of viewing it (the first movie I watch is Biography Channel's movie on Santa Clause). Anyway, this is a very fun and nostalgic look at the history of this holiday, and its pagan and Christian roots. Definitely recommend it... only wish it was longer that its 1-hour length.

This is a great history lesson on exactly WHERE christmas came from. Not many people know that it was not an early christian holiday. Where did the tree come from? Who is St. Nick? Why Dec 25th? You will be better educated after watching this video.

Very interesting DVD on tbe History of Christmas -all the way back from the pagans to modern times. Interesting how the Romans just created Christmas. I never hear anyone discussing this or wondering why we celebrate as we do. Now We know the true history.

When I was a kid (60 years ago) I thought we had always celebrated Christmas the same for about the last 2000 years or so. Surprise!! We hadn't!! Very enlightening.
