I like this album....I think some of the songs have some rather thin production values while others are more solid....there are a lot of contributors to this album. which was good since I hear that some of the New Monkees were working 18 hour days on the set and were drinking too...There are some rather cheesy moments ,such as "I Don't Know" But Larry Saltis sings " Carlene " very nicely....Dino sings the theme song " Turn It Up" with great aplomb until it falls apart at the end.......I thought ... I have to admit I watched this show just to see Marty Ross.
The cd is good, catchy songs ("What I want" sounds kinda like "Come and get your love" by Redbone)

Ew, I don't own it, luckily, but heard it at a friend's house. To be honest, I didn't even listen to the whole thing. That would have been impossible. All those daggy eighties flourishes, guitar solos and crappy lyrics ("Carlene your words are a prison/ but I don't want out/ every time I go to walk out that door/ I find myself coming back for more... I WONDER IF I'LL EVER GET ENOUGH OF YOU BABY"), goodness it's divine. I would like to write a rock musical featuring songs from it.

YEAH BABY!!
now you know how good this is.
the song "boy inside the man" written by tom cochran ... Read More
