I was very disappointed with this game. I bought this for my 5 1/2 yr old son and basically i am spelling words and he is trying to read them. My son is starting to read in kindergarden but trying to come up with three letter words he can read is challenging. I wish I did waste the money with this game. If I could I wouldn't give this a star at all.

I think this will be great as he gets a little bit older...he is 4. We do play--but at this time of course it is me helping him to form words....I feel it is a great toy and very educational. He loves to learn and cannot wait as he is better able to form words on his own.

My daughter is in Kindergarten and we have had lots of fun with this game. Sometimes I think everything is in the timing... and with this game the timing was just right. We recently got this as a gift and my daughter and I have played it several times. We make up our own rules...and she loved it. We don't play competitively, we just work at making words.
I pull out several cards that will make a word then she makes the words, sounds them out and decides which word she likes better. ... Read More

The K-2 set think this is a great, fast-paced game. I think it is a great way to learn reading and spelling.

great educational toy, although really need an adult to play with the child if he/she is just learning to read. Using the letter dispenser is alot of fun for the child (just like the tile dispenser in Zingo). It's a fun way for kids to learn - and they don't even realize you're teaching them!
