Hard Time: Two detectives, Logan McQueen and long-time partner Charles Duff, stumble onto a drug deal and decide to intervene. Logan takes off after three young thugs, Catarato, Chu Chu, and Pepe; but his partner Duffy can't keep up. After Logan chases the thugs through alleys and side streets, one of the suspects, Pepe, is mysteriously shot and killed; and Logan comes under investigation by the police department and the D.A.'s office. Logan is jailed but is later released on bail after attorney Susan Myler takes his case. When Logan is abducted and interrogated by Martin, the drug lord the three thugs worked for, he finds out that a bag Pepe carried contained half a million dollars of Martin's money, but $190,000 of it is missing, making Logan the prime suspect. Martin releases Logan when he promises to track down the true culprit. Realizing he's caught in the middle, Logan moves quickly and begins to uncover clues to Pepe's murder and the stolen money, which leads to corrupt cops, and as the last piece of the mystery unravels, Logan uncovers the identity of the killer and the thief. Hard Time: Hostage Hotel: Former cop and convicted felon Logan McQueen has become a lowly private eye, occasionally teaming up with his drunken ex-partner, Charlie Duffy. Meanwhile, long-time homeless inhabitants of the Monarch Hotel -- a crazy Vietnam veteran named Flynn and his henchman Kenny -- take three women hostage in the governor's suite. They've declared war on the people trying to take over "their" hotel. In the process of kidnapping the women, the two disturbed men kill a young aide and a police officer. Flynn's first demand is that he wants Charles Duffy to handle negotiations with the police. The agents monitoring the hostage area are appalled by the demand, but there is nothing that they can do. Duffy insists that Logan be permitted to partner up with him. This difficult ordeal once again proves to Logan and Duffy that they have what it takes to make a successful team. In order to move forward, they decide to leave their past behind them and salvage their friendship. Hard Time: The Premonition: In this action-packed thriller sequel to Hard Time, falsely-accused detective, Logan McQueen, serves time for a murder and robbery he did not commit. While in prison, Logan crosses paths with Winston, on death row. One day, Winston confides in Logan and tells him his detailed premonitions of serial bombings that have recently taken place. Detective Higgs is assigned to the serial bombings and makes an attempt to gather information from Winston about his premonitions. Winston agrees to help only if Logan can work with police and arrange for his fellow inmate Haflin to be released, and for his estranged daughter, Janice, to visit him before he is executed. The web of intrigue becomes ever more tangled as the murderous bombings continue, and Detective Higgs finds evidence that makes Janice his prime suspect.

All three movies where great to watch, thats because I am a Burt Reynolds fan

A great collection of the movies-made-for-tv genre. Reynolds puts forward some of his better perfomances in this type of crime thriller. Support cast really adds to the talent selected for this series.
