Sister Gertrude (Anita Ekberg) is one of those fun nuns. She spends her days doing the lord's work, which includes a strict regimen of prayer, shooting up morphine, and cruising for men. Poor Gert is also recovering from brain surgery. Thankfully, her breathtakingly beautiful roommate (Paola Morra) sleeps naked and is very helpful. Oh, it is so much fun to discover those movies that bug stars did because they needed to pay the bills and that they wished for the rest of their careers they could disown. And Killer Nun actually manages to double your pleasure--both La Dolce Vita's Anita Ekberg and the great Alida Valli (The 3rd Man) show up in this turkey. Awesome soundtrack, great performances, nice and disturbing nunsploitation at it's finest. Lots of really graphic violence and nudity. Lots statements about organized religion. Recommended to fans of Italian horror and sleaze. This one is tough to beat!

Sister Gurtrude is a disturbed nun troubled by her past, hates men and find's comfort in shooting up drug's (particularly morphine), murdering patient's and pure unadulterated sex. This is an ultra-sleazy nusploitation flick that also happen's to be based on a true story of a nun from central Europe (I know, the Catholic church involved in sin and blasphomy?
