I remember watching this movie as a kid. I still love it. Charlton Heston is young and handsome, Eleanor Parker is at her haughty best and true love wins. It doesn't get any better.

Naked Jungle (1954) [VHS] What a great classic film. Charleton Heston and Eleanor Parker are electrifying together. Definitely a "keeper".

My parents took me to see this movie when I was six years old. For most of my life, I had vague recollections of people being horrifically devoured by ants in it, and I always wondered why my parents would want to see such a movie, much less take me along. Charlton Heston's early days. Drama for the most part BUT having this magnificant ScFi type ending. The whole film hangs on the ending.
It shows how special effects can tell the story not be it.
On the whole an "interesting film".
