My 2 yr old and 5 yr old boys love this cd player with microphones. I love that there are two microphones so they don't have to share. They can sing together. The 2 yr old is learning how to very carefully change the CD. The buttons are big enough for his fingers and he has learned which buttons to push. We love this toy!

There seem to be a lot of great reviews for this cd player, so maybe we just got a lemon. I bought ours 3 months ago. Within 10 days one microphone was completely dead, and now neither of them work, for seemingly no reason. I have two girls who are not too rough on their toys, so I have no idea why the microphones just stopped working. As far as a CD player it is fine, the batteries last a fairly long time, but my girls just do not choose to play with it nearly as much as I thought they would. ... Read More

I purchased this CD player, for my 2+ yr. old toddler, who loves listening to music. She's not so into the microphones, yet, but loves being able to turn on the machine and get the CDs going on her own. Granted, she's scratching up a bunch of CDs, but I feel her sense of triumph is worth it.

Gave to our Grandson for Xmas and he puts the CD's and just sings away. It is very sturdy. He is 3 yrs. and new how to operate it. It was easy for him to play and learn to sing at the same time.

My 2 year old daughter loves being able to listen to her favorite songs and sing-a-long with them. I chose this one specifically for 2 reasons: 1) The 2 microphones, so when she has a friend over they don't fight over who's going to sing first. And, 2) It's not marketed by Barbie, Disney, etc. It's simply a colorful, kid-friendly cd player.
