Banners of the Stars II is the final installment of the Crest of the Stars franchise and by this time feels like an old friend to those of us who have watched the first two series. If you haven't then don't worry you don't need to watch the others to grasp what's happening though it does help. In my opinion this is the best of the three. Crest of the Stars begins the story that continues in Banner of the Stars and continues from there to B O T S II and the final episodes that comprise B O T S III.
