This is one of the best cartoons made in its day. The music was effective, great stories and characters. There is a lot of detail, just not in the animation.

Why does this deserve a five? It hasn't aged well at all. The animation is clunky, the voice "acting" is questionable and many of the plot lines are hokey. But it is sensational. Why? The characters are easy to adore and get behind, the music is awesome and the whole premise is enthralling. This disc features episodes that mainly center around Goose and his background as a Supertrooper. I've been waiting for this since the show stopped airing on television. This was my all time favorite cartoon particularly for it's quirky characters, compelling stories, and surprisingly strong continuity. Now all they have to do is put the Bionic Six on DVD and I can die a happy man. ^_^

This is the second in the series, if you can call it that; most episodes stand alone, and the intro to each show gives you most of the info you need to start out. It's four episodes, mostly dealing with the character of Shane Gooseman; thus the DVD title "Supertroopers". (You won't know what I'm talking about there unless you've watched it. That's ok.)

Why can't we-American produce such excellent cartoon anymore? Oh, beside justice league, G.I.Joe...The story, the animation are great and we need more of it. It is very, very sad that we have to import good cartoons from somewhere else.
Can't wait to have them all on DVD.
