This is a well-made, well-written, and well-acted HBO film. HBO has always made some of the most interesting and entertaining films. Perfect Witness is presented in 1.33:1 aspect ratio and has very good picture and sound quality.

Sam Paxton, a restaurant owner in New York who has a wife and young son, witnesses a mob hit when making a late night telephone call. He is the only witness willing to step forward to identify the murderer, an enforcer for the Mob.

A meat distributer gets tired of the mobs fees on his market. He decides to testify for the DA. A restauranter, played by Aidan Quinn, witnesses a mob murder in a bar while making a phone call after hours. He agrees to testify but has a change of heart after the meat distributor and his wife are found dead and then his son is badly beaten. Excellent drama. I recommend ... Read More

The movie was a little long in parts, but kept the viewer's interest as one waited to see the choice of, and resulting manifestation of innner character of, the "perfect witness."
