The reason I am writing this review is that I can't believe all the bad reviews it got, and had to put in my 2 cents!
I have never saw a cartoon/Book brought so wonderfully to life, as this one that Ron Howard directed.
I guess the Grinch IS obnoxious, but wasn't he in the book, too? And for the make up on the Who's go, They came pretty darn close to how the Who's looked in the cartoon.(Little noses, way off the wall hair do's, funny clothing, big feet.Also, Max the Grinch's ... Read More

I have a very high tolerance for sitting all the way through bad movies. For whatever reason, a movie has to be finished. I think I can recall turning off one other movie in my life. This is the second. A few funny moments wriggle out of Jimm Carey as The Grinch, but this film otherwise attempts to truly steal your Christmas. I found this film enjoyable and fun to watch every christmas but it's not the greatest film. I found the film to long it draged on and on and the film is noisey and bussy. The make-up is really good. The acting is really good espesailly Jim Carrey. Overall it's a good film.
