Product Description: A whimsical introduction to the body for your baby! -- Encourages baby to identify their eyes, ears, hands, feet and more -- Exposes little ones to words in English, Spanish and French
From the day their eyes open, babies begin to observe new things around the world and about themselves. Baby Da Vinci From Head to Toe presents them with a playful and interactive introduction to the human body in three languages -- English, Spanish, and French. With a whimsical blend of adorable puppets, real children and animals and famous works of art, this captivating program also features upbeat classical music. Plus, engaging sing-along versions of "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" invite you and your little one to join in at home. It's a fun, fascinating way to share the joy of discovery -- from the ends of wee noses to the tips of tiny toes -- with your baby!
DVD Features -- Repeat play -- Language tracks (Spanish, French and English) -- Discovery cards -- The five senses -- Puppet shows -- Story time with "Mimi's Toes" -- Toy chest
Amazon.com: Expressive faces and the exploration of arms, legs, and other body parts simply fascinate babies and toddlers. From Head to Toe focuses in on eyes, ears, hands, and other appendages with rapidly changing, close-up photography of real-life children alternating with puppetry, toys, animals, and sculptures and paintings by famous artists. Accompanying the vivid images are whimsical versions of classical pieces by famous composers like Bach, Handel, and Corelli, made kid-friendly by the "Music Box Orchestra," as well as the traditional "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes." Baby Einstein videos are famous for this tried-and-true format that appeals to the limited attention span of very young viewers while encouraging cognitive development--the visual mix and pace in this presentation are especially effective. DVD features include language tracks in English, Spanish, and French; pictorial discovery cards with written and spoken words; an exploration of the five senses; puppet segments excerpted from the show; a read-aloud version of the book Mimi's Toes; and a listing of featured toys. (Ages 9 to 36 months) --Tami Horiuchi

I couldn't figure out how to teach my daughter her anatomy so I decided to buy this video. Glad I did because within days she was dancing and pointing to the body parts.

My son will not watch this Baby Einstein dvd. He doesn't like the drawing aspect. On one instance-it was drawing a face-and let's just be honest...babies don't have the attention span to watch something like that.
He didn't last but about 2 minutes-and that was with me trying to be chatty about it while he watched. Not one of the best Baby Einstein dvd's.

I rented this video from the library. My 6 week old, sat in the highchair intently and cued the whole time. My 2 year old who doesn't sit for even cartoons, sat the whole time. And my 7 year old sat through the whole thing. They love it! I would recommend this to anyone with children. Now, I'm not sure if they learned anything from it, but it sure did calm the baby down.

Personally, this is one of the Baby Einsteins I enjoy the most. My 13-month-old loves it too. Great for pointing out the child's body parts and learning to name them.

I got a large set of Baby Einstein DVDs when my daughter was born as a gift. I found it difficult to find ones that actually captured her interst. She's very active and doesn't like to sit still. Baby Da Vinci and Baby Van Gogh seem to do the trick.
