You get a lot of stuff in this set, and the tricks actually work! Pieces are quality made with wood, painted with engaging colorful imagery. A couple tricks are hard for my 6 year old, but all the tricks are fun for kids and grownups. Encourages hand-eye coordination.

I have been involved in magic as a hobby since I was 11. My first kit was all plastic and some of the tricks were not well thought out and were impractical. Still, it got me hooked. I now use tricks and illusions to illustrate my sales and training seminars. This set is far superior to the one that I received over four decades ago.

My son is six, and I searched pretty hard to find a set that I thought was of the appropriate age level for him, I picked out three and he chose this one from the three. He is very happy with it, and it gets a lot of use.
It was easy to teach him the tricks and he can perform all of them with out getting frustrated, a huge plus; and there are plenty of tricks in the box.

My six-year old daughter has been completely captivated by this magic set. She's had so much fun putting on shows for family members and hasn't needed too much help in figuring out how to successfully perform the tricks. I bought this toy for my granddaughter for Christmas. She wanted a magic set and she is 7 years old. This is the greatest! She picked up on the tricks right away and continues to use it and learn from it. I made her a cape and her sister an assistants cape and they have magic shows all the time.
