This a excellent series, 3 Seasons in total.Please dont let region 2 be a problem we bought a ThiPhilips DVP5982 1080p Upscaling DVD Player from Amazon.com less than $80 and it can be programed for all regions.We have bought Life on Mars,Love Joy misteries ,The Lakes,and Ashes to Ashes and been able to play them All.

I was absolutely mad about this show and was thrilled to find it on DVD. Then the very kind seller in the UK contacted me to say it was in Region 2 format and I live in Region 1. So we canceled the order and my quest has continued. This show is so full of life with all its surprises, joys and sadness. The casting was superb and the venue was gorgeous. I have seen this show on TV and loved it. I am so disapponted we cannot by a Region 1 version for viewing in the USA. I would order the entire series if it was available.
