Editorial Review:
Product Description: Spider-Man 2: The Movie turns the city of New York into your playground -- explore a vast metropolis as you build a legend! It's been two years since the costumed crime-fighter Spider-Man hit the streets. Things have not been good to Peter Parker, and he decides to throw in the towel -- until a strange super-powered man called "Doctor Octopus" marks the hero for death. Take the larger-than-life adventure from the silver screen and onto the computer screen.

I loved and still play Activision Spiderman I. I could not believe how bad this one was from webswinging to combat. Instead of fine tuning and making more fun and flexible the original engine and system, they dumped it and tried to reinvent the wheel, only to fail miserably. Avoid.

Good Things: Lots of villains, fast wall climbing
Bad Things: Only swing on web targets, you can't climb to the top of most buildings, the game won't let you go everywhere, no statue of liberty, short game, no Vulture or Shocker(Unlike the PSP game), the fighting and web and zipping are all in one button, and each villain has the same kind of thugs(unlike the first game). This game is only worth the money if your an huge Spidey fan. The first game was sort of boring, but this one is worse. ... Read More

I got this game for my birthday and I played it at once. The first few levels are boring until it gets to the villain fighting. I like this game in all ways exepept unlike the first game you can't swing wherever you want. You can only swing on web targets. And a lot of levels are to easy. And some levels are just a little to hard. Exaple Mysterio throwing rocks at you is just to hard and I can't beat him. By the way if you can tell me how to beat him a liitle more easy then type [...] and I'll ... Read More

This game is fun, but not NEARLY as fun as the PS2, X-BOX, or the GAMECUBE versions. In those versions, judging by the previews, you can do anything you like. You can climb to the tops of buildings and you can go anywhere. But with the PC version, it's the exact opisate. When you try to climb a really tall building, it stops you after you get to a certian point. You can't go anywhere. You're always in small sections of the city each scene. Sometimes when you look at something, you can see right through ... Read More

The only reason I gave this one star is because the web site made me! I got spiderman2 for pc for my birthday last year and almost smashed the computer because I was so pissed! Everything is controlled by the mouse. The colors look like something from telletubbies and the graphics just suck. There is no "free roam" only "go this way because we are to f@$&ing lazy to make this game for anyone but 3-year-olds roam." If you bought this game take it back. If you are about to DON'T!!!!!! SAVE YOURSELF ... Read More
