Tracy and Jay Osborne's mother is shipping the unwilling children off to their grandfather's house for Easter vacation while she attends to business in Hong Kong. The children plot a trip to visit their mother and, with the help of Jay's pet skunk, evade their grandfather and airport security to escape in a taxicab with two safe-cracking vandals. The foursome proceeds to stage a kidnapping--although just who kidnapped whom is up for debate. Grandfather refuses to pay the ransom, the police get involved, and hilarity reigns as the desperate group attempts to collect the ransom money. The talents of Barbara Feldon, David Niven, Darren McGavin, and Don Knotts rejuvenate this fairly unremarkable plot. Slapstick comedy, perilous excursions, and fast-paced chase scenes abound in this wholesome 1976 Disney production. (Ages 3 and older) --Tami Horiuchi

If you are looking for good clean comedy that you can watch with the kids, then this movie is for you.
This is a classic Disney movie that all generations will enjoy.

While not a top movie, there are a lot worse ones out there. The movie starts slowly with unimpressive dialogue, but stick it out. The movie gets funnier fast as Don Knotts shows up. It's typical clean Disney, with drawn-out suspense and long car-chase.

IT IS IN GOOD CONDITION IN MAILING. IT MADE US LOTS OF LAUGH!!!! NOW DON KNOTTS AND DARREN MCGAVIN WERE GONE.

Fabulous movie! This is a timeless classic that kids today will enjoy just as much as their parents did when they were younger. Don Knotts and Darrin McGavin are PERFECT together! It's a great way to spend an evening with the entire family.
The only downside is this film isn't available in widescreen format other than that it's outta sight man!
