The movie was in great shape considering how long ago the movie came out. My special needs son will be so happy to open this on Christmas morning.

This was a pretty good, little horror-comedy film that a lot of people don't know about. If they did, it would get a lot more attention because it's simply entertaining. The DVD has been out-of-print for quite awhile and expensive to get.
The 80-some minute story moves along very fast and has good characters. Robin Riker, as "Denise Gore," has a great face and - at least for me - alone is worth seeing the film. The same goes for Amy Dolenz, who is a lot of fun as "Wendy." Alan Thicke ... Read More

Re-reading the reviews here, I see they were pretty much all by kids who are talking about how much they like various actors and actresses. But the shocking thing is that this film got a FOUR STAR review (out of five) from Mick Martin and Marsha Porter, whom I usually can depend on to be reasonable. This is probably one of my favorite movies of the early 90's. The only thing I didn't like about this movie was Alan Thicke's character (jerk). I loved the part when Wendy saw photos of herself instead of the Tropopkin. The kinda depresing thing about this movie was when Todd's Grandfather told him that there were only 3 monsters left on the Earth, would about Vampires, Witches and Werewolves. Sure they were mentioned but still, it sux only having the Tropopkin,Lockness Monster and Big foot. Still, ... Read More

I enjoyed watching this movie when it first came on the Disney Channel and I still enjoy watching it today. Alan Thicke gives a great performance as Todd's uptight father, a man who is so grounded in reality he doesn't even know what it means to use his imagination. Robin Riker is fabulous as the seductive and evil Denise Gore, who in reality of course is a monster. It was nice seeing Corey Feldman in this movie, who is so hilarious as Phlegm, the rock musician, head banging freak, and Amy Dolenz is ... Read More
