Let's be honest. The reason you are even considering buying this CD is because you are a Buffy fan. You're remembering really liking that song in whatever episode(s) and are hoping that this CD will scratch that itch. It does. All too often, a song that you hear on a show or in a movie does not stand well on its own. This album is rated 5 stars for containing a wealth of strong songs that featured in the popular TV series Buffy The Vampire Slayer during its 7-year run from 1996-2003. This CD is loaded with 21 tracks. Two are soundtrack/ incidental music pieces , while there are two versions of the indie ... Read More

The music is a very fresh mix of artists who are not mainstream pop. The spectrum goes from thrasher metal(The Nerf Herders) to aucoustic folk (Aimee Mann) and all of it is quite listenable and most of the album I rate as excellent. The only disappointment is that they could have included a discography that tells the listener what episode the song was used in, that and of course that they couldn't include all of the soundtrack music played on the show as there were several more good pieces to be heard, ...
