This is perfect for what we needed it for. My son decided to get some Gamecube games for his Wii. It does what it needs to and the price is right.

I used to own a GameCube with original OEM controllers, so I know how they perform. I recently picked up a Wii and bought this controller starter kit so that I could play GameCube games once again. I was a little apprehensive because of the price (seemed low for everything you get), but was extremely pleased to find that the feel and performance of the controller was completely like that of the OEM version! First the good:
The controller feels great in my largish hands, and the buttons feel fine, although a little loose. The controller works well. The memory card works great, no issues with it.
The BAD:
The 6' extension wire was bad out of the box. Using it with this controller, or another controller I have, causes the character to constantly run to the right and down. Taking off the cable fixes the problem. I had to throw the cable away. Fortunately I didn't really need it.

I bought this little package to go along with my Wii and it was so good that I ended up coming back to buy another one. The extension cord is incredibly long, it reaches almost the entire length of my living room! The memory card is rather useless for the newer gamecube games, but perhaps those of you with older games may get some use out of it. The controller itself is 1000 times better than the MadCatz ones, and it fits in your hands just like the original GC one is supposed to...awesome price too!
