Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle is a big, fun, bubble-brained mess of a movie, and that's exactly as it should be. Its popular 2000 predecessor got the formula right: gorgeous babes, throwaway plots, and as many current pop-cultural trends as you could stuff into a candy-coated dollop of Hollywood mayhem. This sequel goes one "better": The plot's even more disposable (if that's possible), the babes, cars, and fashions even more outlandish, and the stuntwork (heavily digital, heavily absurd) reaches astonishing heights of cartoon silliness. Reprising their titular (and shamelessly titillating) roles, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu are having the time of their lives, especially when sparring with ultra-buff rogue angel Demi Moore (looking better at 40 than most women half her age) and Justin Theroux as a sleazy Irish mobster. Bernie Mac replaces Bill Murray as angel-sidekick Bosley (they're step-brothers, don'cha know), which is one more indication of McG's intentionally reckless stewardship of an intentionally reckless franchise. Our advice: sit back, relax, and get jiggly with it. --Jeff Shannon

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great fun
In a summer of films stacked up with sequels to long dormant franchises (e.g,,Terminator,Freddy) it's great to finally get a sequel to a film that was damn fine to begin with.Teaming up with the original film's director McG (who,to date, has yet to helm any film aside from these two),the original cast return also for a sequel which manages to be just as loud, colourful, sexy, fun and exciting as it's predecessor. Aside from a seemingly endless array of celebrity cameos, there are some exciting new additions ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Demi Moore almost spoils it ...
... but it's still a pretty good film. More of the same, but less so, although I think this relies on too much CGI to show Demi Moore in a bikini. Still entertaining.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Crap Sequel To A Crap Show
I got this as my sisters wanted to see this movie and after watching it myself I truly wish I could get those two hours back. The main story is that the Angels are supposed to protect the boy in the witness protection program since some unknown person or group seem to be killing off certain people in the witness protection program and the information they get points to this boy being next. Of course there is some more to the story but if you're like me you'll probably just won't care what they are after ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Fun and brainless - just like the show
It must be nice to remember so fondly the good ole days when all movies were chock full of plot, dialogue, and meaning. Who can forget those sci-fi and horror classics, Ronald Reagan and the chimp classics, or Doris Day masterpieces that were so real, so full of thought-provoking dialogue, and so powerfully driven by their ironclad plots? Must be nice to have such a selective memory. As for me, I know that Hollywood is by and large a crap factory and it's simply a matter of the flavor you choose. If Charlie's ... Read More
