My siblings and I thought this movie was just hilarious when we were very young. I bought in the hopes that I could share it with my class at school. While it is still a hilarious movie, I would never show it at school. I am extrememly picky about what I show to other people's kids. The main thing I have a problem with is the drinking. I bought this DVD for an end of year party for my 4th graders. They loved the silly, gentle, slapstick. They totally got the humor and laughed a lot. It is hard to find a G movie these days and this a keeper.

This is one of the funniest movies ever made. This is a movie that you will watch over and over again. If you want to enjoy an evening at home with lots of laughts, this is the one.

This is a classic movie with great comedy provided by Don Knotts and Tim Conway. Family friendly in every way.

Anything with Don Knotts in it is going to be funny. He just has a special gift in that area, and The Apple Dumpling Gang doesn't disappoint! The storyline, dialogue and delivery all conspire to make you laugh. I didn't remember anything about this movie from when I was a kid; I just remembered that I really liked it. Now I remember why.
But if you like absolute believability in movies, this one isn't in that category. It's just a fun, sit-back-and-laugh movie.
