I had high expectations of this movie as I've heard it praised from several friends. Yes, the main draw for me was Mr. Wenham - and I was NOT disappointed. This movie is funny, sexy and just pretty wonderful.
Is it better than sex? Maybe... but if it's not, it's pretty darned close!

This movie captures two people at a time in their life where they thought they might never be.
Meeting at another party, the same faces, the same old, same old..They would expect their liason to end in a similar fashion. The same old thing, a one night stand.

The only bad thing I can say about this film is the fact that it took nearly four years for it to reach the US. The tag line pretty much sums it up -- what was intended as a one night stand turns into more than the participants expect. After thoroughly enjoying this film, its stars, and its plot devices (including the omniscient taxi driver) I was a little surprised to find that many professional reviewers were rather unenthusiastic about it.
