Purchased this for my mother as a Christmas gift. She loved it. She's loved the series since it first aired.
So this was a great nostalgic gift for her.
She really liked the extra special features too.

The most beautiful and breath taking story. An ideal world that many of us wish we could live in. Perfect for adults and children of all ages. You can't go wrong with this, get all the dvds i promise you will love them.

My faviorit childhood show is absolutly Little House On prairie I love this show so i had to get season 1 its the best season because the careters are new and fresh the show was a absolute watch for my whole family when i was a kid and even today when i see a rerun on the hallmark channel i will stop to watch it its so enertaining and ya got to love the cast they all were great.

I don't want to waste everyone's time here just like to mention that there are a lot of deleted scenes from this series. A VHS version I have of "Town Party, Country Party" contains the full length unedited episode but the DVD version does not. A number of episodes in this Season 1 package have been edited. Very disappointing.... Many of theses episodes have just aired recently on cable in their full length unedited form... Why edit them for U.S. distribution? Do a web search on Little House ...
