The Superbit titles utilize a special high bit rate digital encoding process which optimizes video quality while offering a choice of both DTS and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. These titles have been produced by a team of Sony Pictures Digital Studios video, sound and mastering engineers and comes housed in a special package complete with a 4 page booklet that contains technical information on the Superbit process. By reallocating space on the disc normally used for value-added content, Superbit DVDs can be encoded at double their normal bit rate while maintaining full compatibility with the DVD video format.

This is one of my favorite senseless action movies. Some of the scenes are quite serious but they end up quite funny.
Marton Csokas and his...gangsters are awesome! "Show me the cop...and do not be mistake!"
If you're going to watch this you got to be in the kind of mindset like if you were to watch CRANK or SHOOT EM UP. XXX is over-the-top when it comes to its action scenes. If you're in this frame of mind you may actually enjoy the movie.

Now, i've just read a lot of bad reviews of this film, & some good points have been taken. But seriously - you knew this was an action movie when you went into the theatre! Mindless - guilty. Unbelievable - definitely. Boring - NO. The stunts are great, it's got funny (and dumb) 1 liners from the hero, & it's got the hot girl for the hero. Everything that makes action movies good, right? I'm a Vin fan who just suffered through this pile of garbage. What a lousy movie. Vin is much better than this. No wonder he passed on part II. Bad acting all around. Laughable action. Lame touching moments. This is lipstick on a pig. Avoid it. This should be more embarassing to Vin than his clips on youtube of him breakdancing as a teenager. A horrible movie.

This guy can fly a motorcycle?
Staying alive is passing the test?
He has a wise attitude, tattoos and a shaved head,
but he seems to be pretty fearless too.
So he falls for a hot Gothic Euro-Babe and then,

XXX is clearly one of the best PG-13 action movies of 2002. The film is full of amazing stunts,action sequences and one-liners. Vin Disel should have been the new action star of the millenium. While XXX should been his second franchise following Pitch Black sadly it wasn't and we lost a new action star on our hands in the form of Disel.It would have been nice to see the action movie posters saying Disel on top of the title in films such as XXX2, Hitman and A History Of Violence but oh well.
