This is by far the best space flight sim game I have played. There is a great story line that mimics the orignal series. The only problem is the save points are WAY down the pipe, and afer playing about 3 successful missions, if you fail, you go back to the beginning! Frustrating, but the game is enough fun to keep trying!

I was always a fan of the original series and thought it was awesome that a game was based off of it. Fun game, not what I expected for a space flight simulator, but still fun.

Battlestar galactica is fun, albeit extremely difficult. The phrase "practise makes perfect" applies here like no other. The learning curve is quite steep, but once you master the Viper's (surprisingly) deep controls, you should do well.
Pros:
-Beautiful scenery, immersive environments
-Ships are highly detailed and true to the original TV series
-Fills the childhood urge to fly a Viper
-Unlockable content (including original Ralph McQuarrie concept sketches) ... Read More

And, no, it's not an issue with the contrast on my TV. The darkness and fast game play make it difficult to enjoy the Cylon ships, the Vipers and Battlestars. Would I buy it again? Yea. Sure. It was ... Read More
