Amazon.com:
Anchor Bay's Incredible Hulk double-disc set offers The Incredible Hulk Returns (1988) and The Trial of the Incredible Hulk (1989), the first two of three made-for-TV movies featuring the Marvel Comics monster hero that aired after the CBS series' demise in 1982. Both discs also include a considerable amount of supplemental material, including interviews with star Lou Ferrigno and comic book legend Stan Lee. Bill Bixby returns as tormented scientist David Banner (in addition to executive producing Returns and directing Trial), as does Ferrigno as his green-skinned alter ego. In both titles, they are paired with other Marvel creations; in Returns, Banner is joined by the Mighty Thor to thwart industrial espionage, and in Trial, he's defended by blind lawyer Matt Murdock (Rex Smith), a.k.a. Daredevil. Bixby's always-credible presence brings believability to the fanciful storylines, and both features have the right mix of drama and action that should satisfy fans of the series and its graphic origins alike. --Paul Gaita

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - MORE HULK FUN, BUY THE TWO DISC EDITION!
'The Incredible Hulk TV series was dumped during the 5 season having only 7 episodes and leaving a big void for a finale of the show. These two TV movies are pretty fun and the effects seem to be a little bit better than the series.

The first film 'The Return Of The Incredible Hulk is the better of the two films and features another of Marvel Comic's biggest heroes The Mighty Thor. Although Thor is unfortunately even more loosely based than the Hulk, the Norse God of Thunder is a hoot ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - 2 Failed Pilots Don't Fail To Entertain
These backdoor pilot TV movies(designed to launch a solo Thor and Daredevil series)may have failed to excite audiences of the time, but the fun and adventure are preserved on DVD.

I remember anxiously awaiting the broadcast of both of these movies when they originally aired and I feel the same way about them now, that I did then. Even as a kid I knew that Thor was missing his cape and that Daredevil dressed in red, not black, but the excitement and creativity of the interpretation kept ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - So Bad It's Entertaining
I watched this show on and off as a child and enjoyed it thoroughly. I saw this title on the library shelf the other day and picked it up out of nostalgia. Wow! It is just terrible! I mean, every aspect of this show is just really, really bad! I was highly entertained throughout at the horrible acting, abysmally cheesy dialogue, and action scenes that look to have been planned and shot by a junior high AV team. Most hillarious, though, was the cheesy little contrivances that allowed the farce to ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Incredible Hulk Returns is a great TV movie!
The Incredible Hulk Returns is a great TV movie! This Incredible Hulk TV movie was released in 1988. The TV movie aired on NBC back in the late 1980s. You still have the original cast from the TV series, Bill Bixby, Lou Ferrigno, and Jack Colvin. This particular movie David Banner had not transformed into the Hulk in two years and he meets up with an old friend Donald BLake, his character has spiritual connection with Thor. Hulk and Thor actually meet in ths TV movie which makes it worth waiting for! ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A Little Crazy
The whole Hulk, Thor, Daredevil thing is kind of crazy, but what was so good about The Incredible Hulk series, in my view, was that they took the incredible and made it somehow believable. Not saying that it wasn't unbelievable, but it seemed so down to earth that it had an air of believability about it. What it all boils down to is that it's a great show with great actors who did a splendid job.
