This DVD is so beautiful, Ms. Wulff so charming and graceful, that it is a real pleasure to watch it over and over. It taught me basic fly casting in short order, and it has plenty of information for advanced fly casters to consider and emulate.
I recommend it as a gift for the fly fisher with everything; if my kid had given it to me for Father's Day, I'd have been amazed and delighted.

This DVD is well worth the price. Joan Wulff certainly knows her stuff and her easy manner, ability as a teacher and vast experience all shine through to make this a thoroughly entertaining and instructive introduction to the art of fly casting. The video should also appeal to intermediate fly fishermen/women... she is a class act!

Joan's technique and simple method of explaining the correct way and how to correct problems when fly casting is the best that I have found.

I am a complete beginner, but with this video as my guide, I am already casting fairly well after only four practice sessions. Joan Wulff is a pleasant, well informed, highly respected fly fisherman and instructor, and her presentations are very clear, helpful, and well organized. Lessons cover the basic cast, false casting, double hauling, roll casting, and other useful topics.
