Amazon.com: Fans of Denise Richards will delight in her skin-tight and belly-revealing outfits in Good Advice; fans of Charlie Sheen will enjoy his patented sleazeball-with-a-heart-of-gold performance. Richards is the author of a much-ignored advice column who's trying to drag her hotshot stockbroker boyfriend (Sheen) to the altar. When a phony tip ruins Sheen's career, Richards leaves for Brazil with the owner of a diamond mine. When the publisher of the newspaper that runs the advice column calls, Sheen grabs at the chance for a paycheck and writes for Richards. Unsurprisingly, masquerading as a woman saves his shallow male soul and his witty but insightful comments turn the column into a big hit. All seems to be going well until Richards suddenly returns and finds herself famous. Angie Harmon plays the publisher with whom--unsurprisingly--sparks fly. Jon Lovitz, Rosanna Arquette, and Estelle Harris provide helpful support. --Bret Fetzer

To be honest, I only noticed this dvd because Denise Richards was pictured on the box. And I don't mind confessing that I bought it to watch her perform the usual "eye candy" role--and she faithfully delivers on that score.
But this movie is actually pretty good entertainment. Charlie Sheen delivers a very funny performance as a "deliciously sleazy" rich play-boy type in the first half of the film. I actually laughed out loud during the opening scene: He's in bed with another man's ... Read More

... on cable, and thought it was great then. Charlie Sheen and Angie Harmon have great chemistry, and while I'm not a big fan of Jon Lovitz, he manages a better than average performance as the sidekick/best friend, and the film has some truly hilarious--and touching--moments. If this isn't in your collection, I have only two words for you--why not?

I saw this on the TV awhile ago and liked it so well I bought the DVD.
This is not Shakespeare but....I found it quite entertaining and funny. Charlie Sheen does a nice job, as does Angie Harmon and the rest of the cast, which includes a nice comedic turn by Estelle Harris, aka George's mom.
Sheen plays a greed driven stock broker, who is a bit of a sexist pig as well. He then finds his inner feminine side, and finds love with Angie Harmon (aided greatly by Harris), as he ... Read More

predictable, and Roseanna Arquette is TERRIBLE in this. She was great in "Desperately Seeking Susan." Her fake NY accent here sucked.

In three words, this is a light romantic comedy.
But it is charming and funny!
Great job by Daniel Margosis and Robert Horn.
